Kretskas, The Black Sheep

Krestskas was probably much more similar to the other cities of Jörmungandrë in times past. But as the years have gone on, outsiders have arrived by ship from all over Aeradane, most of whom were nothing but refugees looking for a home. The traditional culture of Krestskas has slowly melted away, and a new culture, one valuing diversity, independence, and proudly supporting your neighbors, has arisen.

A City of Outsiders

Everyone was an outsider at some point, but only in Kretskas can outsiders become Jarl. Rivaan, a dragonborn from the far eastern deserts of Kalderaz, quickly rose through the political ranks when he arrived in Kretskas. He was seeking refuge for his people, a group of fifty desert warriors who were willing to adapt to anything in order to continue on. Now, Rivaan has enacted a controversial new policy to allow outsiders of all kinds into the borders of Kretskas, so long as they find a way to carry their own weight. He has radically shifted the beliefs of the town in just thirty years, and many are eager to see what kind of glocal cultre center Kretskas can become in thirty more.
