Glazeel
The town where Roderick grew up, Glazeel is home to great warriors.
Demographics
Glazeel is home to any who might call themselves a warrior. As such many races live in Glazeel, including a Kuo-toa blacksmith.
Government
The settlement is run as a martial settlement. No one person is held to any standard, but everyone is expected to pull their weight--people notice if they do not. The Chief of Glazeel is simply the strongest fighter, while the Quartermaster, the right hand man of the Chief, helps to train warriors and hunters.
Defences
Glazeel regularly clashes with goblins and giants. A such, Glazeel has worked on establishing strong fortifications. Glazeel defends itself with high palisades, a moat, regular patrol parties, and in necessary cases a set of ballistae from atop the palisades.
Industry & Trade
The Standing Forest is just south of Glazeel, so occassional adventuring parties from Glazeel foray to find treasure for trading. Their relationship with Raundor allows for trade of necessities very easily between the two towns. Most members of Glazeel are hunters of excursionists who venture out for days at a time.
Assets
Glazeel has large grain and livestock stores from trading with Raundor. They are situated read the Twin Peak Mountain and as such make excursions to recover ores for weapons and equipment. Their largest asset is in their training and their armory storage.
Geography
Glazeel is situated on a slight hill, with two small cliffs that hold the armory, barracks, and Chief-hall.
Natural Resources
The Standing Forest offers Glazeel wood, the Twin Peak Mountain offers Glazeel ores and game to hunt, and the Sinking Marshes offers Glazeel herbs and medicinal indregients for their taking.
