Personal history

Ersa was raised by her elven mother and never met her human father. She was looked down on by her mother's clan and was not well-liked due to her being only half-elf . To resolve this she decided to become an asset to the clan. Ersa began working hard to solve any mysteries that troubled her mother's people. Eventually, she ate away at the stigma surrounding her and the elves became more accepting of her in the clan. However, Ersa couldn't help but feel as if she still doesn't belong. 
Ersa set off for Jarrenvale, where she met Jack the Barbarian and Sexhard Silvertongue and formed a group to investigate the mysterious disappearances in town. While investigating, her family spent the night in Jorvolda Jadeborn's house. Ersa, not being comfortable with that, slept outside. When she awoke, she met Ilga the Ruthless, who joined their group. Ersa, Ilga, and Raven found themselves in a love triangle. The group defeated Maldrus, son of Thelrus and Jorvolda. 
Afterwards, she fell asleep and dreamed that her father had been kidnapped in the Tabaxi Empire. She decided to set off and save him, and Ilga decided to go with her. The two of them rode off together to save Ersa's father and then return to Breshbazzug.
