Personal history
Kalinda is an efreeti noble and the mother of Loganicus.
As Loganicus and his bride-to-be, Thora West, exchanged letters in secret, Thora began to call her "Monster-in-Law" behind her back.
On the wedding day, Kalinda attempted to stop the wedding, saying that she wasn't good enough for her baby boy. Loganicus was able to calm her down and still married Thora.
Kalinda now often visits her son and daughter-in-law in Windspire Castle with little to no warning, rearranging the entire kitchen every time (even though she could use her genie powers to conjure food out of thin air).
