Tinkerton

Demographics

Back when it was inhabited, Tinkerton was home primarily to tinker gnomes, with a few forest gnomes and goblins thrown in. Rarely, a halfling or two would be found. There were almost no "big folk."

Defences

The gnomes built many automatons to guard and protect Tinkerton. These guardians mainly took the form of clockwork monsters, such as dragons, minotaurs, etc.  Having been left without maintenance for so long, these constructs wildly rampage throughout the city now.

History

Tinkerton is the only city that the Gnomes have created themselves, as typically they infiltrate other communities. It was a prosperous city, and it represented a new Era for the gnomes. That was, until the dragon came. Volothrax the Black destroyed much of the city, killing the gnomes with his acid breath. There are rumors that Volothrax's Lair is at the center of the city, but nobody has ever been able to get there to confirm.

Architecture

The architecture of Tinkerton is unique, made with cogs and gears and machines built into them. They clearly take inspiration from both dwarvish and elvish architecture as well.
