Elvish society, known collectively as the Ellyion, is organized into several different kingdoms and territories, each with its own unique culture and traditions. These kingdoms are often ruled by a king or queen, who is supported by a council of advisors and other officials. The high ruler of Illyria is chosen from the kings and queens of Illyria by the Brenhinol Owl during a senedd. Elves are deeply connected to the natural world, and they live in harmony with the forests and wild places that surround them. They are skilled hunters, gatherers, and farmers, and they use their knowledge of nature to produce some of the finest food and crafts in all of Illyria. Religion plays an important role in elvish society, with many Elves worshiping a pantheon of nature deities and spirits. Elvish magic is closely tied to nature, and many Elves devote themselves to the study and practice of magic as a way of deepening their connection to the natural world. Despite their long history and deep connection to nature, Elves are also highly sophisticated and cultured people. They are known for their love of music, dance, and art, and they have created some of the most beautiful and intricate works of art and architecture in all of Illyria. Elves are proud of their heritage and their way of life, and they are fiercely protective of their natural environment and their cultural traditions. They have learned to coexist with the other peoples of Illyria, but they remain fiercely independent and committed to preserving their unique way of life for generations to come.
