Fool’s March, the stronghold of the Blademaidens, is sacked by the Queen in Scarlet and her forces during the ‘Blood Banquet.’ Aeuroa Semimur, her heir, a score of blade maidens, and a mercenary group of no renown survive the attack. The ‘Queen’ is killed in the assault but, most peculiarly, her forces do not dissipate and continue to grow in strength.
