Imaginaerium, Day 22 - Martial Arts Monday (On A Sunday)

The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.
— Tom Clancy
Two days into the release of new sprints, and how is everyone doing? I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone cooks up on the Conspiracy prompt especially.   I've always found that the prompts I think I won't like or think I won't have much to write about turn out to be some of my favorite articles. Embrace the challenge, and let it take you outside your current plans and ideas, find something new. You got this. :D

Video Recommendation

Continuing the theme of martial arts today, we're going to look at Lawrence Kenshin, mostly focused on muay thai and kickboxing, it's a mix of history and technique analysis.   Very helpful for all your martial arts needs.
As a bonus point, here's a clip from the Ultimate Fighter, where I think the title kind of says it all.           "He's a free-thinker, you know?"

Shows, Movies, Anime

I remember watching this show at some point when it first aired on Discovery Channel, and it has become pretty silly with age... But, there's still a lot of good information you can find in it. Lots of inspiration to be found on different martial arts styles and even how they might apply in a modern setting, since the host goes around demonstrating on some poor, unsuspecting suckers.     Playlist starts here:

Nice imaginaerium, I don't plan on using martial arts in the current world (or at least if a prompt calls for it is likely it won't be modern martial arts), but this is one to save for the future.
