Imaginaerium, Day 8 - Clever Title

You can look anywhere and find inspiration
— Frank Gehry
Today, we'll get the last bit of Summer Camp homework. If you haven't checked them out yet, I recommend it - if you haven't done much worldbuilding before, the framework it helps you establish goes a long way. Starting at a blank paper with a whole world to fill at once can be pretty tough, and runs the real danger of running into some analysis paralysis.

Video Recommendation

is a sport native to Malaysia, which asks the very important question: what if volleyball, but you can only kick? For this reason, it's sometimes known as Kick Volleyball and... It's pretty crazy!   Expect a lot of wild backflip kicks. It wasn't quite one of the inspirations for the fictional sport of Saen-Kaw made for Araea, but it was one of the sports I looked at.           There's also a version of it in Myanmar called Chinlone that is around 1500 years old. Chinlone is played without an opposing theme and the objective is just to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible, as awesomely as possible.   It reminds me of something we used to do when I was a kid, but our version wasn't invented to entertain royalty.

World Recommendation

Hello World by Sai is one of those worlds that I keep coming back to whenever people ask me for a world to check out. From concept to execution to aesthetics, it is just so very awesome. It is also a great example of a high concept world, essentially taking the insides of a computer and turning it into an entire, awesome world.   Definitely check it out.
