The Immortal Forest
The Immortal Forest is the magical home plane of the fey and other magical creatures. It has forests with magic, sea's, oceans animals and beasts. Ealdir (god of nature and animals) sometimes wanders in the forest, looking out for the nature and the animals, but his primary location is unknown even among the creatures living in The Immortal Forest.
It is a land of soft lights and wonder. It is a realm of everlasting twilight with glittering faerie lights bobbling in a gentle breeze and fireflies buzzling though groves and fields. The sky is alight with faded colors of a ever-setting sun, which never truly sets or rises; it remains stationary, dusky and low in the sky. Away from settled areas rules by the Seelie fey, the land is a tangle of sharp-toothed brambled and syrupe fens.
The Immortal forest exists in parallel to the Material Plane, an alternate dimension that occupies the same cosmological space. The landscape of the Immortal Forest mirrors the Material plane, but with more extravagant detail and wonder. Where a volcano stands on the Material Plane, a mountain topped with skyscraper-sized crystals that glow with internal fire towers in The Immortal Forest.
Inhabitants:
The inhabitants of The Immortal Forest varies in temperament from kind to malicious, but almost all have a mischievous side to them and few stop and considers the need or worries of visitors to their home.
All manner of fey creatures is found in The Immortal forest such as elves (elandrin), dryads, satyrs, pixies and sprites as well as centaurs and magical creatures such as blink dogs, faerie dragons, treants and unicorns. The Darker regions of the plane are home to more malevolent creatures such as hags, blights, goblinoids, ogres and giants
There is also many beasts living in The Immortal Forest.
Most fey serves one of two godlike archfey, either the Summer or Winter Queen (also known as the Queen of Air & Darkness), who shares an ancient and bitter Rivalry.
Those who belongs to the summer queen's court Seelie court is generally good-aligned fey and represent or celebrate the beauty of nature. They are known to be honorable towards visitors, but they do not welcome non-fey to their court.
Those who belongs to the Winter Queen's Unseelie Court generally evil-aligned fey and represent or celebrate the darker and more macabre aspects of the natural world. They are generally more dangerous and untrustworthy in their dealing with visitors, however they are known to be more welcoming of non-fey into their court. The Unseelie court works tirelessly to undermine the Seelie court, sometimes violently, but more often through games and cruel mischief.
The remaining inhabitants of The immortal Forest hold no allegiances except to their own whims or serves another archfey.
Uglier inhabitants, such as fomorians and hags are generally not welcome amongst either the Seelie or Unseelie Courts
Ecosystem
The Immortal Forest is a place of wonder and beauty, of extravagant and vibrant life. Things can be found here that seems abnormal to inhabitants of the Material Plane
You could stumble over huge and odd colored mushrooms, enormous flowers, blue or red grass or a flower or tree suddenly growing eyes or a mouth and starting talking. The environment can also be affected by nearby travelers, turning the flowers a different color or a different shade or vibrance of the color. The plane is like a painter has painted over the world with the thinking of more is better and everything over the top and odd. Everything is buzzling with life and energy everywhere you go, with birds singing and flowers blooming.
Localized Phenomena
Non inhabitants or non natives of the Immortal Forest can be affected by the phenomena's that can happen when leaving the plane such as forgetfulness or time warps, but there are also some other phenomena's that can accour when visiting the Immortal Forest:
Forgetfulness: The Immortal Forest is lace of magic, wonder and beauty and non-natives can sometimes experience forgetfulness when leaving the plane making the memory into a dream-like remembrance.
Time Warps: The Time in The Immortal Forest is a bit different than the time on the material plane. If you come from the Material plane and resides in The Immortal Forest for more than 24 hours, time warps can happen, which can change days into minutes, weeks, months or years.
Fey Crossings: All throughout the plane there are many hidden gateways from The Immortal Forest to the Material Plane. Therefore it can happen that you can be unlucky and "fall" through to the material plane if you are not careful. Often these portals open infrequently. A crossing might open only during a full moon, on the dawn on a particular day, or for someone carrying a certain type of item
Feywild sparks: These are motes of energy that is highly sought after by adventurers that dares to brave the plane's perilous wilderness.

Fauna & Flora
The Immortal Forest are home to unique varieties of plant life, including various fungi that hold supernatural properties. Notable among these are eldercaps, Executioner's Hoods, and hummingbrellas
