The Sunstriders
The Sunstriders are a organization that fight evil and protect the innocent. A lot of it's members are holy people like paladins and clerics, but not all. They involve themselves in world-changing events that shape the destiny of the material plane.
They value Honesty and loyalty highly and defend the innocents from danger and evil forces. Many of the clerics and paladins in the organization are devoted to either Solaris or Vita as the goddesses of light and life.
The organization were created in the year 2827 (1630 years) by a man called Reldeir Semher
Structure
Branches:
There are multiple branches inside the organization. As well as fighters, there are priest, researchers and couriers.
High Striders:
The ones with the rank of high striders are the leadership of the organization and they sit in a small council known as the high strider council. They are responsible for setting and planning most of the organizations long-term plans and goals. Members are elected from different criteria such as long-term service and dedication towards the organization as well as discretion in the execution of their plans.
Culture
The Sunstriders strive to eliminate tyranny and evil.
The Striders can come from different backgrounds and cultures which make each shaper to have an individual outlook on what being a member means they do follow a code though to protect the weak and serve a higher purpose in pursue of destroying evil and eradicate tyranny. They always take care in how their actions affect the greater world. Senior members tend to act more with caution while younger members often believes it is upon them to personally make the world a better place.
Though all striders are taught to uphold the virtues of dedication, comradery and honesty.
The Striders are very determined. They never quit their missions and took the time to complete their missions. If a strider was slain, the comrades usually remembered and vowed to bring justice to their killer
The Sunstriders are one of the most tolerant factions. They accept people from a lot of different baggrounds and races.
Code
- Work against villainy and wickedness
- All beings should walk free of fear, with the right to live their lives as they wish
- The rule of law aids peace and fosters freedom, as long as the laws are just and those who enforce them lenient and
understanding
- No extreme is good. For freedom to flourish, all must be in balance
- The striders police their own. A strider who strive to achieve personal power over their duty cannot be striders. A strider
who seizes power and holds it above all, is a traitor. Traitors must die, for freedom to live
In summery and practice the code is meant to oppose tyranny and evil: to protect the opressed; to maintain freedom, peace and order; to support fair and just laws; and to prevent extremes and imbalances of power, wealth, influence and opportunity.
They should do whatever they must, no matter how mundane or boring; no matter how hard, uncomfortable, or demeaning; and no matter how risky or life-altering
They are expected to help one another with no hesitation or concern for cost and to ask nothing in return for the works they did. They could freely disagree with or criticize each other, and were to police their own and punish treachery.
