Order of the Undying Serpent
Dear Mardum, I apologize for the lack of word, but you have seen previously how I can become consumed in my projects, and I have been taken by my greatest working yet. You may remember my mentioning of a Professor Pan, in my letters from my time at the Academy. The Academy’s archmage of conjuration. He has apparently been following my progress since my graduation and has taken a keen interest in my skills in transmutation. Needless to say I was surprised when he offered me a chance to prove my skills as a magus. A chance to see if I could fill a place in an order of archmages he belonged to. And that is what I have poured myself into these past months, my love. Gathering the requisite components alone was an undertaking, though the final weeks of nonstop casting, laying lines of arcana and weaving spellwork for days without sleep, is what truly pushed me to my furthest limits. I can hear you now, chiding me for expending so much effort to create a tower, but I can tell you it is no simple tower. And I truly believe it is worth it, even if the Sanctum was just a simple Wizards tower. For in the coming days I shall be inducted into the Order of the Undying Serpent, a collection of the strongest archmages in their fields. I wish for you to be here as witness.
You have my love, Atia Arcturis
The Order of the Undying Serpent is a brotherhood of eight archmages and Grandmaster Artificer, who’s order existed before the Flooding. As few records have survived from that time their existence until recently was relegated to little known myth and legend.
However rumors have begun to spread of a mysterious woman appearing before travelers and adventurers the world over, seeking aid in finding and reviving the fellow members over her order.
