God behind the stars

The interpretation of the one, true God worshipped by the Mahrim religion. Mahrimites believe that God is not embodied in the earthly world, but remains hidden and looks out upon the world through the stars and these are his special messengers. Therefore the stars are the most prominent symbol of the Mahrim religion.   The belief is that when the final day comes, God will reveal his form and name to those of his followers who will be admitted into the eternal paradise. There is a strong emphasis on God as a judge of the lives as mortals, which is why so much importance is placed upon the acknowledgement of God and following correctly of his rules in the religion.
