Show to your love that you have the same tastes as them, just like soulmates do thanks to having been created just for each others! Try your soulmate's favourite hobby for the first time yourself and do them together to show that of course you love them too!
And why not join both together by practising magical art, ritual or even crafting artefacts with your beloved depending on their preferences? This is guaranteed to swoop them off their feet!

Testimony

When I fell in love with Jean, I really doubted it would ever worked out as Jean loves duelling but I've never been a fan. However, I still invited him to a duelling show, and we had the most fun ever! It's true what they say: if you're truly made for each other, you'll have the same taste, and if you don't it's only because you haven't tried hard enough yet. We're regular attendees to the show now and we're soon going to celebrate our first wedding anniversary!

Hélène twitched before she could stop herself. Of course, Grandmother immediately honed onto this weakness.
"Pierre is a perfectly nice young man and not worth dying over. All our enemies are sure to send assassins after you if they believe you've let your magical training go!"
"Then I'm sure you'll be able to intervene and have him stop harassing me and trying to make me run and train together! A bit of magic is certainly not going to convince me he's stopped being a rude idiot."
Grandmother sighed as if she had to exert utmost level of patience to deal with her. "A rude idiot form the Croizot family. Stop being obtuse and allow him to court you until we sign the trade contract at least, then you'll be able to insult him as much as you want. And above all, go back go the trails."
Alina squinted at this very reasonable answer.
Her Grandmother caught it and gave her a haughty look. "Come on. As my granddaughter, you can certainly do better than that talentless boy. In fact, I have just the young man I want to present you during the next state dinner. An enchanter, too. Your magics are bond to be compatible!"
Oh magic. Grandmother had become impossible now that she had come off age! Hélène was already not impressed by her actual soulmate the emperor, there was no way she would let herself be trapped by some inferior man. She had to escape as soon as possible...
