Areus Moor Plains

The plains are a large piece of land contested by two different countries. While the Tabbloyn are more tall grass plains, the Areus, is a short grass plains. They are considered to be the transition between the southern plains and northern forests.

Geography

These plains slope down from the mountain chain northward and south eastern parts of the continent. The area is noticeably drier than the surrounding regions. Agriculture prospers here due to it's healthy soils, but irrigation is required to harvest any plant that requires substantial amount of water.

Fauna & Flora

Big Nose Hog

While the more academic name is the Torrnus Hog, the Big Nose Hog is named by the hug and powerful nose this pig has. It can smell things from over a mile away, and can track creatures for miles. As an herbivore, they use it to avoid predators. They are also solitary creatures.
