The Great Reaching Woods

The forest is one of the largest forests in the known world. It spreads throughout most of the region. It's natural wildlife is some of the most magical in the known world.

Geography

The forest is sustained by the rain that collects among the The High Throne Mountains. The runoff and abundant rainfall is a key part of the forest. There are a few rivers throughout the forest, but the Edwinclase is the largest in this watershed.

Fauna & Flora

Tall Wood

This tree is about a foot in diameter and is three stories tall. These canopies blanket much of the forest from the sun and create a unique ecosystem under and between their branches. The wood the produce is also very durable wood.

Gaia Tortoise

These large tortoises are the size of large rocks that carry a small garden on their back. Special plants are endemic to these tortoises are magical. Fireflies tend to gather around them as well.

Brown Bear

These large predators are dangerous when tacked alone. They have brown fur and hunt consistently throughout the forest. Their hides and claws are valuable to the people in the area.

I lived there before I moved to Aulus. It was common for some children to not the horizon due to the amount of trees there are.
