In this plot arc the players will be faced with a number of situations that will force them to either confront the attrocities of the imperium against its citizens and other races or confront each other as they go along with the status quo. The Haarlock dynasty has been fractured and now Miria, the newly appointed Rogue Trader of the house, has been left to put it all back together. Will she be able to overcome the challenges with the help of her newfound rag-tag crew or will the burder of leadership prove to be too much in a wildly disperate group of individuals who all feel differently about each other and the imperium at large.
Structure:
The structure of this plot will be to major plot competing for the attention of the group. There will also be a number of minor plots and branches that could expland as the campaign goes depending on what kind of traction they get with the group at large.
Major plot 1:
Miria need to put her dynasty back together. Each planet will offer a different set of challenges to her and the group but they will all be different. Some social, some poltical, some physical. Whatever the case no planet has cut and dry problems. The dynasty is encountering systemic failure and solving one problem often will create more of different kinds.
Major plot 2:
Charo-Theta-5, the groups former employer still wants the Noctilith they retreived on Quaddis. Her reasons are still cryptic but she has requested that while the Rogue Trader and is out reconstructing her empire that they stop by a planet on their way to pick something else back up for her. Supposedly the blackstone in their posession will show them the way.
Minor 1:
Drukhari raiders are looking for weak points in the defenses of planets, hoping to start raiding them and collecting Mon-Keigh for their slave pits back on Cormorragh.
Minor 2:
Quaddis is without a full time governor in Miria's absense. What will happen there?
Minor 3:
There is a worrisome population of dangerous mutants known as empty-men on Sinophia. How will they be taken care of.
