Mars

Mars is the fourth terrestrial planet in the Sol Star System and the first planet to be colonized by Humans outside their homeworld. Originally a dead desert planet, Mars has been terraformed to be like Earth filled with water, healthy soil, and a thick atmosphere.

History

Even before the first Martian rover landed on its surface, humans saw great potential in planet Mars. For some, it was a new frontier to explore and understand. For some, colonization was the chance for a new start for humanity, free from the shackles of oppressive governments. For some, it provided the opportunity to expand humanity's reach. In a sense, all of them were correct in their own way.   The first human that landed on Mars was the European astronaut Mark Esvon on August 1st, 2048.
