In the Mountains of Rage

The world was once populated by powerful mages, and lush kingdoms. Mages and dragons ruled in harmony, and humanity reigned supreme above all other beasts. It was an age of expansion, an age of advancement and an age that is now long gone.   That world is gone, and only one kingdom managed to survive through the horrible wars that resulted once the ancient Maji turned on each other. Far from the strongest Mage, the ruler of the mountains cast a spell, limiting the power of the creatures in his realm. It has been hundreds of years since the wars, and now they're thought to be a myth.   You are a binder, a mage capable of taming the powerful creatures who wander the lands. You've lived your life in the mountains, taming local monsters and exploring the world, but recently the thought has arisen that there might be something... beyond the encompassing range of mountains that hold the world you know.
