Hellionic Feasts
Amongst all demons, eating physical food is not always necessary and far more often a statement, habit, or even just a hobby. Because of this, some circles of Hellionic demons have created a tradition of feasting. In function, these feasts are akin to dinner parties amongst humanity.
The difference between feasting and general eating is the quantity of food eaten, and the act of preparing it. A single demon could throw a feast just for themselves if they felt like it. This itself is a rather common way of carrying out the tradition as some demons like to eat a lot of food in one go, and let that sustain them for a long time. Some theorise that this behaviour is where feasting originated from in the first place - a volley of demons all nourishing themselves in one large meal to save time and effort.
There is no traditional set of foods aligned with feasting, as it is the act of eating itself that is the important and main part of the tradition. That, and biological functions vary wildly between different Hellionics so the foods that are presented could be inedible to certain other demons. However, most feasts have at the very least several kinds of meat - prepared in many different ways, including raw - and a small selection of souls set aside from trading for consumption's sake.
History
Feasting is yet another tradition amongst demons where the origin has been lost to history. As said, it is theorised in some circles that it began as a way of volleys saving time and effort by eating a lot at once.
Observance
Feasts can happen at any time, and however often a Hellionic would like it to. Larger feasts tend to occur annually, but many smaller feasts can happen up to several times a month.
