Deathbringer Orb

This smooth crystal orb seems to contain a churning dark cloud that demonstrates a photosensitive aversion to light. When triggered by outbursts of powerful emotion, it releases a "deathforce" wave that is purported to unleash spontaneous mutations in living matter and murderous rages among sentient victims.

The device was once called the Lifebringer and used as a constructive force for healing and renewal but it became corrupted during XHAN's invasion of Norland. The Vidal family kept the artifact's destructive curse securely hidden for the past three centuries; however, Oliver Chastain has recently stolen the artifact, which he calls the Deathbringer, and begun using it to further his own ambitions.
