Powerful glowing artifact overseen in the sinister basilica atop The Dwimmerhorn.
Hathus discovers in Episode 7: The Shadow of the Future that the chain inside the basilica is a relic of great power. It was forged in the Elder Days by the dark powers of the world, and was used to enslave proud, rebellious dragons. When placed around a creature, the chain robs the creature of all free will and forces them to serve the master of the chain. It was carried out of the far north by evil men in the second age, and rested in the tunnels under Mount Gram for many centuries.
