The weapon was an heirloom of the folk of Woodland Hall, but was lost long ago when one of their chieftain’s sons was captured by Orcs.
The company were given the old axe head during Episode 2: Of Old Men and Older Horrors and returned ot to the Woodmen during a fellowship phase.
