Magical Wildfire of 1797
History
There were two mages, Jonan Timenson and Falco Almen, who were in love with the same girl, Felicity Domasila. They spent months seeking her hand in marriage, but she wanted nothing to do with either one of them. She thought they were arrogant and mean. They spent more time arguing with one another, than trying to court her. She decided to find her own path in life and took up vows with the priesthood. Both Jonan and Falco were upset that they could no longer "get the girl" and blamed the other for her vow of celibacy and silence. They started arguing and fighting. Neither were rational. This led to a bar brawl, which led to them being kick out of the bar and out of town. They headed into the countryside near the Forest of Galbareth, still arguing. No one knows who threw the first spell, but the sky lit up with spell fire. The sky was so full with spell fire that no one could see the full moon. Then everyone heard a loud boom, then a crash and then the sky was lit with regular flames. The townspeople said that they thought the world was going to end, and in a way it did. The two stupid boys had lit the Forest of Galbareth on fire and since it was magical fire, no one knew how to put it out. It destroyed everything in its path. The forest was gone in hours. It burned the fields, towns and villages. The townspeople left their homes behind and took their fishing boats out into the ocean hoping that the salt water would stop the fire. Luckily, it did. They started gathering anything and everything that would hold salt water and using it to put out the fire. They were able to use a combination of water spells and a water bucket brigade to carve a little spot shore to keep everyone safe. On the other side of the forest, the fire jumped the dirt road and attacked the Elven forest to the north. The elves knowing more about magical fires, use their own magic to suppress the fire before it became a problem for their towns and cities. The Elven Mages followed the fire back to the Forest of Galbareth and to the human settlement. The suppressed the fire as they went, but the forest was already devastated as was the towns and villages. All that was left of the thousands of humans, were a 157 people. The elves brought them back to the closest elven town and made them welcome. This is the first time that a human was welcome in an elven town or city.Manifestation
The magical wildfire glows blue and purple instead red, orange and yellow like regular fire.

Really cool story. Did the elves (or a part of them) ever seek retribution for the humans starting the magical fire?
The humans that started the fire died in the fire, so no retribution needed. Direct consequences.
I see, thanks for answering.
