Recent colony

The planet of Imber was populated during the Age of Apostasy. Exact dates and charter are not found due to the overestimated strain on the Administratum during the uprising which was known to cause clerical errors.
Justification and/or reasoning for estabilishing a colony on the planet is missing from the records. Conjecture from sources deemed partially reliable claim that it was a way to alleviate the overpopulation on Rima.

Geographical issues

Air pressure on the sea level has forced the majority of the population to live on high altitudes, records showing every major settlement being built on an altitude of few kilometers above sea level or more. This has slowed development of the planet, due to the additional physical stress applied to the workforce.
