Khisi Uqtylneln - He Whose Breath Dictates the Actions of Beings (kuh-EE-si oo-KITH-ee-lin-eh-lin)
Uqtylneln, also known as "He Whose Breath Dictates the Actions of Beings," is a malevolent spirit. He holds the ability to control the minds, bodies, and souls of all living beings, inject and erase memories, thoughts and desires, and give those who summon him the same power. He is prideful and often boasts that he can see all, even though he is blind. However, he is willing to reason as long as he is not angered.
Appearance
He is depicted as a large, blind being with a deformed, black-and-green human body covered in yellow spots, claws with long, thin, clawed fingers and three heads, the left and right being vipers, and the middle and largest, a skunk. He is always portrayed in an upright position, cross-legged and clutching an unlit lantern in his left claw and bowl in his right. The lantern has a bone, two beads and the skeleton of his favourite food, olnigo, hanging from the bottom by a thread while the bowl has a pungent, awful smell wafting out of it.
How to Summon and Deal with Him
Whilst telling the khisi your request, always refer to him as "E hud ol plolnud khisi". In addition, do not make eye contact with him (he may be unable to see, but he can sense the presence of a living being or object in his vicinity) as Uqtylneln perceives this act as mocking his blindness. You must also stay humble and meek; if he mocks you, do not let your voice betray anger or offence.
Each time the khisi is summoned, he gives his summoner a list of four random tasks, which usually range from highly unusual to outright scandalous, to complete to prove they are worthy of wielding his power. One must complete them without hesitation or objections.
After proving yourself worthy, the khisi will open his lantern and tip his bowl above the opening, allowing his foul breath to seep into it. He will then close it and hand it to you, instructing that whenever you wish to use his powers, you must simply open the lantern and ensure your target inhales it. The khisi will then exhale in your face (make no sounds of disgust), his breath giving you the power to influence the actions of any living being of your choice.
