The Godblights

Godblights are horrible creatures that were created something during the Age of Perfection. This was a period in which war, hungar, and poverty has come to a point of non-existence. A Planet known as The Planetary Democracy of Nova-9 would create a drug to help their soldiers with PTSD after their time in the military.

For a while it worked, but there would be a mutation in the drug. You see the drug used engineered parasites to latch onto the brain in order to quell stress and anxiety. But A Scientist by the Dr. Blight would mutate it, his reasons remain unknown.

The former soldiers began to mutate after taking the drug for so long as it had become addictive. Once the government found out and stop the production of the drug the soldiers turned feral. They raided the factories that made the drug and occupied it. After 2 months of waiting the government finally took action, they sent the military in and what they found struck them to their very core. 67; 12 feet tall, elongated arms and legs, soulless eyes, and wide smile. The military was no match for them. The people paniced and begin to riot and raid. The other factories had began to open releasing the other mutated soldiers.

After only 2 days, the planet had become overrun. Nothing but the Godblight remained. Out of fear other nations in the neutral plane destroyed the planet by exploding a supervova distrubtor on it. But this would not be the last of them. They are still a threat, with them appearing on planets for seemly no reason. This caused them to be a bigger problem with an organization being made to combat this threat; The Exterimination Corps.

How they Act and React

The Godblight appear in packs and begin the process of making a colony. At the beginning, they will go after small children as to build up food. They can mimic voices and usally these victims can range from 2-5 years old. It can happen anywhere, one example being that in the Avaritian Playground; a child was lured by a Godblight by using her mothers voice. The Godblight took the child in broad daylight.

These creatures are also extremly intelligent; learning from their enemy about their tactics, weakness, and fears. Those are just normal Godblights. There are 5 classes of Godblights; Hunter, Beta, Alpha, Omega, and Ruler.

Hunters have the job of gathering intelligence and gathering food. These Godblights are dangerous but managable, it is recommeded to use a ranged weapon as their skin isn't resistent yet.

Betas are Godblights that follow the specialized orders from an Alpha Godblight. This can range from pruning defective hunters to causing a chaotic event in a nearby city to distract the public.

Alpha Godblights are the rulers of their colonies. They give out orders to Hunters and Betas, they usally get higher commands from Omega Godblights. Thier main job is make sure the colony is protected and to maintain dominance on the planet.

Omega Godblights are the offspring of the ruler. These Godblights are extremely dangerous. If one is seen on a planet, the planet must be eraticated from the stars. These beings are so powerful that if a colony were to act up and Omega would tear them apart as if it was nothing.

The Ruler is a Class of Godblight to describe the current ruler of the Godblights. There is only 1 ruler, Omegas can challange the ruler to see if they can claim dominace but this is rare and has just been a running theory as of 200k GB.

The Varitants

There are 2 documented variants as of 200k GB. There are the Gravity Blights and the Lone Hunters. These varitants can be bad and good. Since Godblights adapt to their enviorment quickly it can be seen as an observation opptunity.

Gravity Blights are blights they reside near planets that are next to blackholes. These beings rather then feasting off flesh, run off the Hawking Radiation of Their Black Hole. These creatures seem to be peaceful as they ignore living things unless provoked.

Lone Hunters are hunters that have been exiled from a colony and are their way to becoming an Alpha Godblight. These hunters are dangerous and unpredictable. Many have lost their lives just to a Lone Hunter.
