The Sleepless

The Sleepless is the name referred to the three witch sisters. They are the only known mortals to have obtained divinity. It is unknown how they achieved it but it is known that whilst they where three separate mortals. In becoming divine beings they become one, the divine being known as the sleepless. This being bears three heads when appearing before those of the material plane, each head being that of one of the sisters. The magic they know is powerfull and strange bearing no semblance to anything known by those that study the Arcane.
Once every decade they select three mortals unwillingly and bestow there mark on them. It is unknown why they do this or how they choose there victims. These individuals suffer about 1 month of headaches and nightmares when the mark forms but that is about all that they experience. Some rumors about that people with these marks have died and come back to life on their own, but there are no reputable records of this.
