Helmsfirth

Helmsfirth - the Southern Half of the continent is called Helmsfirth. The capital city shares this name. This is a human city by standard, though other races live near the ports and in the underground. Helmsfirth is egocentric, viewing other races as beneath the humans of the country, usually using them as poorly paid household employees. Helmsfirth is beautiful, with large castles and estates.  Deceivingly beautiful. Where do they get all this gold, marble, silver? A vast underground network black market. That’s how. Using the labor of others and making underground deals that often end with the supplier never being seen again. That is the price for such beauty. Climate: Green, lush. Has a rainy season and many temperate deciduous forests.

Structure

Royal Family Rule. The King and Queen (Tyr and Lidia), with their one son (Prince Rapheal) and one daughter (Princess Myra). Dukes and Dutchesses often rule over different regions.
