The Cracked Flagon

Purpose / Function

The Cracked Flagon is a small inn on the furthest reaches of town with cheap rooms, ale, and food.

Design

The Inn is a single story with a cellar.
On the main level there is a small kitchen behind the main counter and has a hand full tables pushed around the room. There is a single stair case behind the counter leading to the cellar.
The cellar is a smaller room with cloth partitions around sleeping cots. A single room stands at the end of the makeshift hallway dimly lit by two small candles.
Cots: Upon entry there is a single or double cot in each partition where there is a small pelt rug. Each partition has a single candle within casting shadows across the so called rooms.
Single room: The room positioned at the end of the hall is what looks to be an wood storage closet. There is a single cot shoved in the corner with a fragment of a candle about to burn out illuminating the space. There is a single shelf beside the bed acting as a table.

Entries

The Inn: Kitchen: A single door to the dining area behind the bar. Two windows are on the back of the kitchen. One is latched while the other vents air as a slow roll of smoke and seam crawls up the outside of the window. Dining: Door into kitchen. Stairs to the cellar. 3 Windows around the area on the far walls.Main entrance is an old mended door that looks as if it has seen its fair share of bar fights. Cellar: Stairs down. 4 partitioned "rooms" with two having single cots and two having double cots. A single room on the end no exit.

Sensory & Appearance

Upon entering the smell of ale soaked lumber fills the air. A faint smell of urine comes off of the door yet the smell of the kitchen is one of home cooking.
If cannibal: The smell of raw flesh can be smelled from the kitchen. Perception check 16

Denizens

Table One -

Piersym: Male Halfling Fighter, Neutral. Piersym is tall and overweight, with short auburn hair and light blue eyes. He wears splint mail and wields a halberd. Piersym speaks with a loud voice.

- Aecthed: Male Human Fighter, Good. Aecthed has gray hair and green eyes. He wears plate mail and wields a spear and long bow. Aecthed believes that he is being hunted by supernatural creatures.
- Alil Spage: Female Human Fighter, Neutral. Alil has a square face, with golden hair and brown eyes. She wears plate mail and wields a bardiche. Alil seeks opponents for a game of darts.
Other -
- Reder: Male Human Soldier, Evil. Reder has a long face, with black hair and dark blue eyes. He wears leather armor and wields a bastard sword and shield. Reder seeks to save his family from financial ruin.
- Boda: Female Elf Artist, Neutral. Boda has braided white hair and sharp blue eyes, and wears glasses with platinum rims. She wears expensive clothing and numerous rings. Boda refers to herself in the third person.
- Hobso Mugwort: Male Halfling Peasant, Neutral. Hobso is heavyset, with white hair and large amber eyes. He wears modest garments and several small tools hang from his belt. Hobso is impossibly lucky.

Architecture

The inn is a modest half-timbered building, with unusually low ceilings. Accommodations consist of several wooden cots in the cellar. The main entrance is an old mended door that looks as if it has seen its fair share of bar fights.

History

Not much is known about the Cracked Flagon besides that it often passes from owner to owner often. The current keeper is regarded as the nicest owner the place has had in decades.

Tourism

The Inn has many people coming and going on the day to day. Even with a small amount of bed space and accommodations the Inn is usually packed.
