Colonial Drug Wars

The Colonial Drug Wars is the term that refers to an interplanetary military campaign launched by the Caniic Hierarchy to reduce drug-related violence within the colony of Anzion and surrounding space. The Hierarchy had asserted that their primary focus was dismantling the syndicates and drug traffickers on Anzion and throughout Hierarchy Space. However, interference by Hierarchy Forces lead to increased aggression and resistence by several powerful drug syndicates. Because of this, what was to be a quick dismantling of criminal activity turned into a full-scale war lasting for almost forty years.
