Dhigstus

Dhigstus is a significant deity in the Caniic religion, worshiped for his association with wisdom, death, royalty, knowledge, war, battle, victory, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and the runic alphabet. He is also depicted as the husband of the goddess Iringia, with whom he bore several sons, including the famed gods Avan and Ava.
Throughout the recorded history of northern Hazura, from the Hagisian occupation of regions of Doractic around 18 BC, to the Migration Period (1st and 3rd centuries CE), Dhigstus remained a prominent god. Even in modern times, the rural folklore of Hazura continues to acknowledge his significance.
Dhigstus is often portrayed as a euhemerized ancestral figure among royalty and a founding figure among other Hazurian peoples. In old texts, he is depicted as the son of Shigia and Jkior, along with three brothers, Murdork, Jou, and Phirus. The god also fathered many sons and is known for his blind and black-furred appearance.
