Government of Corga
The Government of Corga, or Corga Governorate, is the administrative government of the country of Corga. It is a form of a meritocratic republic, and was established by a constitution in 1908. It consists of legislative, executive, and judicial subdivisions, as well as a Head of State, or president.
The Corgan Constitution is the result of the work of the Parliament Assembly, which was formed by the representatives of all the anti-royalist forces that contributed to the defeat of imperial and royalist forces during the Last Emperor War.
Corga, by statue, is considered to be one of the founding countries of the Caniic Hierarchy.

The executive branch of the Corga Government is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws and regulations passed by the Parliament Assembly. It consists of the President, the Prime Minister, and their cabinet members. The Prime Minister is appointed by the President and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the government. The president is elected every six years by majority vote within the Parliament Assembly and confirmed by the Security Council. The president and prime minister both works closely with the Parliament Assembly to ensure that the policies being passed align with the goals and vision of both the Corgan Constitution, and the constitution of the Caniic Hierarchy.
President
President is the head of state and is chosen by the Parliament Assembly through a process of merit-based selection. The selection process involves evaluating an individual's qualifications, experience, and achievements. Once selected, the President holds office for a term of six years and can be re-elected for a maximum of four consecutive terms.
The President serves as the figurehead of the government and engages in official engagements with foreign dignitaries of neighboring nations, and representatives of the Caniic Hierarchy, such as official state visits, diplomatic conventions, and other related governmental activities.
Prime Minister
The prime minister is the head of government and the leader of the Parliament Assembly, who is appointed by the Security Council upon the recommendation of the president. The prime minister's primary duties consists of the day-to-day functions of the government.Cabinet

The legislative branch of the Corga Government is known as the Parliament Assembly, which is composed of representatives from each of the 5 provinces in Corga. Elections are held every five years, and each province is allotted a specific number of seats based on its population size. The Parliament Assembly is responsible for passing laws and regulations in guidance with the Constitution of Corga. The members of the Parliament Assembly are nominated and elected in-house through a merit-based system, where candidates are selected based on their qualifications and experience.

The judicial branch of the Corga Government is responsible for interpreting and upholding the laws passed by the Parliament Assembly. It consists of the Supreme Court, lower courts, and appointed judges. The Supreme Judge is appointed by the President and is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Supreme Court. They work closely with other judges to ensure that the laws passed by the Parliament Assembly are being upheld and interpreted correctly.
The court system in Corga is divided into civil and criminal courts, with separate judges and procedures for each. The Supreme Court serves as the final court of appeals and has the power to declare laws or actions unconstitutional.
