Government of Io

The government of Io, officially the Government of the Ioian Republic, exercises executive power in Io. It is composed of the prime minister, who is the head of government. The Cabinet of Ministers, the main executive organ of the government, was established in the Constitution in 2694 after gaining independence from the UNF in 2691. Its members meet bi-weekly at the Cabinet Chambers in New Oslo City. The meetings are presided over by the President of Io, the head of state, and the Prime Minister of Io, the head of government.
