Hierarchy Firefighters Corps

The Hierarchy Firefighters Corps, established in 1918, is a Tier-10 military and civilian emergency force dedicated to civil defense, firefighting, and search and rescue operations. As an auxiliary force of the Hierarchy Peace Guard, they play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community in times of crisis.   The primary responsibility of the Hierarchy Firefighters Corps is to combat and extinguish fires that pose a threat to life, property, and the environment. Equipped with state-of-the-art firefighting equipment and trained in advanced fire suppression techniques, individuals work tirelessly to contain and suppress fires, preventing further damage. In addition to firefighting, the Corps is also trained in search and rescue operations. They are equipped with specialized tools and techniques to locate and extract individuals trapped in various emergency situations such as collapsed buildings, natural disasters, or accidents. Their swift response and expertise have saved countless lives, making them an invaluable asset to society.   As a military reserve force, the Hierarchy Firefighters Corps undergoes regular training and exercises to ensure their readiness for any emergency. They work in close coordination with other emergency services, such as medical personnel and law enforcement agencies, to provide a coordinated and effective response during crises.

Ranking Structure

  • Chief of the Firefighters Corps - Plans, coordinates, supervise and evaluates Fire and Medical operations. Develop, review and implement all firefighting policies and procedures in accordance with emergency ordinances, national law, and hierarchy laws and regulations.

  • Assistant Chief of the Firefighters Corps - The Assistant Fire Chief directly supervises Fire Suppression Operations and is responsible for control and discipline in the Corps. The Assistant Chief carries out routine administrative tasks, including related clerical duties, and maintains the Fire Suppression Operations.

  • Battalion Chief of the Firefighters Corps - Battalion Chief provides oversight of all fire stations, equipment, apparatus, and related work, as required. The position coordinates the effective and efficient use of emergency services resources.

  • Captain - Fire captains are responsible for Firefighting operations in an assigned department. Captains supervise and participate in fire prevention and fire inspection activities, firefighting training, emergency and non-emergency responses and activities, and do related work as assigned.

  • Lieutenant - Fire lieutenants directs the response of fire suppression and other emergencies to insure the safety of personnel and the public. Assists with the coordination and collaboration of the Corps Inspection, public safety education, and fire investigation Programs.

  • Driver Engineer - are Under the supervision of the Fire Lieutenant, and responsible for the overall operation, care, and driving of fire suppression and/or aerial apparatus. Driver engineers operates and ensures that all apparatus fire/medical equipment is accounted for and is operating properly.

  • Firefighter - Firefighters responds to fire, medical, and hazardous materials emergencies; operates fire apparatus and other equipment as required; assists emergency medical care and responds to mutual aid calls.

  • Probationary Firefighter - Probationary firefighters assists with fire investigations as assigned. Attends scheduled training to maintain the required certification through continuing education as required by the Peace Guard Commission on Fire Protection and Hierarchy Department of Health and Welfare Services. Probationary firefighters performs their related duties as assigned.
