The
Holo-projector, is a device used to project a holographic image of a planet, landmass, ship, vehicle, or person. Small holo-projectors commonly used by AIs are often referred to as holo-pedestals, while table-sized ones are known as holo-tables.
Human usage
Human holo-projectors have become ubiquitous in ships and facilities as essential tools for displaying and accessing information in various contexts. These advanced devices offer a wide range of functionalities, enabling efficient communication, strategic planning, and data visualization. The holo-projectors come in diverse sizes and shapes, tailored to specific needs and available space.
Starting from the smaller end of the spectrum, we have the cylindrical pedestals designed for AI avatars. These compact holo-projectors serve as interfaces for interacting with AI entities and displaying holographic representations of these intelligent systems. They are commonly found in command centers and control rooms, allowing crew members to communicate and consult with AI-driven entities in a more intuitive manner.
As we move up in size, we encounter tables equipped with holo-projectors. These larger displays are typically found in important areas, such as the bridge of a warship. They serve as centralized command hubs, providing a comprehensive view of tactical information, including real-time readouts, mission data, and strategic visualizations. These tables facilitate collaborative decision-making processes among the crew, allowing for efficient coordination and enhanced situational awareness in high-pressure environments.
The versatility and adaptability of human holo-projectors are evident in the wide range of sizes and shapes they come in. This variation enables the efficient use of space while accommodating the specific requirements of different operations. Whether it's a compact cylindrical pedestal for AI interactions or a large tactical table for complex visualizations, holo-projectors have become integral components of human ships and facilities, enhancing communication, information management, and decision-making capabilities.

Portable Holo-Projector
Portable holo-projectors are a smaller prototype variant of standard tablet projectors designed to fit in the palm of one's hand and make easy transport inside armor sacks, vest pockets, and vehicle rucksacks. portable holo-projectors, or, Holo-disk, are described as being small and round with a projector eye at the center. Commonly, Holo-disks are issued to high ranking officers of the UNF military for communication where in-person communication is not possible.
