Kaitlyn Baker

Chief Sergeant Kaitlyn Gloria Baker (service number 14269-00725-KB) is a Canadian-American servicewoman of the Tactical Orbital Defense Troopers, holding the rank of Chief Sergeant. She is a skilled sharpshooter, radio operator, and pilot.
Kaitlyn is the only daughter of a Canadian father and a Japanese-American mother. As a child, Kaitlyn was seen as extremely intelligent and quite active in her childhood years and into high school where she was a #1 track star. Commonly, she is seen as the fastest soldier of her generation if not the history of the TODT.
Kaitlyn is a member of Gamma Fireteam Squad along Master Chief Sergeant of TODT, Hannah Marshell, who is also her one and only best friend in the TODT. Much like Hannah, Kaitlyn too is enlisted into the USC Marine Corps as a non-commissioned officer. After displaying extremely high marks in every level of her Marine training, she was transferred to the TODT.

Attire and personal effects

Commonly, Kaitlyn is seen in her standard dress blacks when not in combat. In combat, she utilizes a custom version of the Marine Corps' Battle-Dress rather than the TODT's EXCALIBER Powered Armor. Though, she does wear the armor's techsuit beneath her Marine armor. As far as her weaponry, Kaitlyn favors the M29 CQA Shotgun and G47D magnum handgun for getting up close and personal with enemy forces. As a TODT NCO officer, Kaitlyn doesn't get a lot of personal leave, but when she does, Kaitlyn perfers simple jean shorts, t-shirts and running sneakers. She only ever worn a dress three times, once when she graduated high school, once after completing boot camp (Marine Corps skirt uniform), and once when General Isaac Bennett became Commander of the TODT.
