List of presidents of the Ioian Republic
The president of the Ioian Republic is the head of state of the Ioian Republic directly elected to a four-year term by the people of Io. The officeholder leads the executive branch of the federal government and is the commander-in-chief of the Ioian Armed Forces. Since the office was established in 2695, 5 men and 2 women have served in 7 presidencies. The first president, Jakob Solie, was the sole candidate to run for the office and won a unanimous vote of the Ioian population. There are currently no deceased former presidents, with six still living into the present-day: Jakob Solie, Jo Asp, Tormod Skog, Donna Sorrenti, Jordan Berger, and Kiran Ewing. Kate Strommen is the current incumbent, who was elected on November 4, 2722 and took office on March 30, 2723.
