Texas Alpha
Texas Alpha, or Cheyenne III, is a human inner colony world of the Cheyenne System within the Orion Arm of the Milkyway galaxy. Texas Alpha is primary under the jurisdiction of the New Texas Republic. Residents number to around 14,489,638 with most residing in the capital of Travis City, and the cities New Houston, and Prairie City. The rest of the population is spread out through many rural towns. Texas Alpha was first colonized in 2147 and terraformed 10 years later. Originally colonized by American settlers, Texas Alpha was later claimed by the New Texas Republic shortly after. Though the United Nations Federation formally recognizes Texas Alpha as an NTR territory world, the United States does not, falsely claiming that the NTR killed every American colonist. While Texas Alpha, much like the NTR on Earth, is seen by other countries and colonies as lawless, it does in fact have laws; many laws. They just have more freedoms than other colonies.
