USC Fleet Command

A sector is a region of space as identified by the United Space Command. A sector is typically made up of multiple star systems, some of which are home to United Nations Federation colony worlds, while others may not host any planets at all.
To facilitate efficient communication and command, the USC designates sectors in two different ways. The first method involves using the term "FLEETCOM Sector" followed by a specific number. Sectors falling under this designation indicate that their inhabitants fall under the jurisdiction of FLEETCOM, which is responsible for overseeing the operations and welfare of the sector. On the other hand, some sectors are designated using a different format. These sectors are identified by using the term "Sector" followed by a letter and three numbers. These sectors fall under the purview of the USC but may not necessarily be associated with FLEETCOM. It is important to note that the designation of these sectors does not imply any difference in significance or importance; rather, it is a system for organizing and categorizing the vast expanses of space under the USC's command.

Fleet ships

FLEETCOM controls a variety of different types of ships and vessels, each designed and utilized in battle-specific roles in interstellar warfare. Below is a listing of some of the types of vessels that are incorporated in a standard USC fleet:

Corvette – A patrol and fast-attack vessel, occasionally used in scouting or intelligence-gathering operations.

Frigate – These relatively small and lightly armed ships typically escort larger vessels.

Destroyer – Similar to frigates, USC destroyers also provide escort for larger ships, though they are more capable of direct combat.

Cruiser – A handful of these large, heavily armed, and heavily armored warships that emphasize armor and weaponry over fighter/troop deployment can be seen in a standard USC fleet.

Carrier – A small amount of these massive ships that deploy fighter ships and groundside troops can be seen in a standard USC fleet.
