Venusian
Venusians are citizens, nationals and residents of the colony of Venus. The colonization of Venus began in the year 2347 after successful terraforming efforts which led to the establishment of a complete earth-like planet in 2350. The majority of Venusians are of French, German, Italian, and Polish descent, with a minor American influence. This diversity in background and culture has contributed to the development of a unique Venusian society.
The Venusian community is characterized by their adherence to strict environmental regulations to maintain the planet's earth-like conditions. The economy is mainly driven by agriculture, tourism, and research in different fields. The fertile soil and stable climate of Venus have allowed for the production of crops like wheat, potatoes, and coffee, among other commodities. Apart from agriculture, tourism is also a crucial source of revenue for the colony. Visitors can explore the forests, lakes, mountains, and parks that span the planet or visit the various museums, art galleries, and other cultural institutions. Those interested in scientific research and development also have opportunities to conduct experiments in areas such as climate control and greenhouse production.
The Venusian society has a unique cultural heritage that is derived from its diverse origins. The inhabitants have developed their dialects, traditions, and customs over the years, although French remains the official language. Furthermore, many Venusians have taken to art, music, and literature to not only preserve their heritage but also to create a unique Venusian culture that is appreciated on Earth and beyond.
