The Sight Unseen

The Sight Unseen is a Slow mutation brought on by mining extremely rare and toxic materials among the Asteroids around Saturn's rings. Mining colonies exposed to the gas giants immense gravity and toxic gasses eventually begin seeing visions ranging from mild to horrible hallucinations. Colloquially referred to as Sight Unseen, Most among the core planets refer to the nightmare afflicted as Blanks.

Most among the minors take offense to this term as it refers to those who have slowly gone insane from the affliction and are forcibly labotomized in order to save their minds. Many of those afflicted, however live perfectly normal-ish lives, only suffering the occasional hallucination as well as the typical blindness.
