Perseidia

One of the two largest spiral arms of the galaxy, and the first to be expanded into by the First Solar Empire.

Administrative Districts

The arm is split up into historical administrative sectors named after the ancient Zodiacal Constellations as viewed from Sol.

Scorpio

Scorpio is the innermost administrative district. At the point where the spiral arm meets the outer galactic core, a great Ion storm known as the Maelstrom rages that prevents access to the nucleus itself.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius is located at the opposite side of the galaxy relative to Sol, with the galactic nucleus between the two.

Cancer

Cancer contains the Perseus Transit and the closest approach to Sol itself. In the current era, the Perseus Transit is plagued by violent Ion Storms that make transit to Sol impossible.

Virgo is the outermost administrative district. The Perseus arm tapers off and fizzles out at the district's furthest reaches, and marks the galaxy's final frontier.

Libra

Libra does not officially exist within the traditional administrative district system, as the Perseus arm does not extend into this constellation as seen from Sol. A "Libra district" has become a slang term for a Rotten Borough, or another place that does not exist.
