Personal history

Little is known about Vestrak before he started studying cartography. He does not seem to like to talk about it and tends to avoid the theme.

When he started studying cartography, he was lazy and was bad at drawing. First year of the studies where hard for him, barely passing the classes and the worst at drawing from his class. At some point at the end of the first year something changed, some classmates say that he got a letter before the changing. After that, his grades started going better and his drawing skills slowly improved, he was never seen outside of class and he told he just started practising outside of class and studying. He ended finishing his studies in the top 5 of his class.

After the studies, jobs came slowly and were underpaid. For a couple of years he had barely just enough to survive but enjoyed his job and spent a lot of the inbetween jobs time to try new things and drawing things for himself. One of his jobs took him to Vumon but the contractor died before he could even get payed.

While in Vumon, Lar Bresh heard about him and decided to see his skills. Lars payed him for the last job and asked to see his portfolio. She was amazed by the maps he had done on his free time and decided to hire him for the Therik compasses. Since then, Vestrak has been working for the Therik compasses making Aedoro's map. He is being paid for each excursion he made with the Therik compasses and sometimes he cannot be paid for whatever reason but they give him food and a place to stay so he decided to stay for that altogether with the new family he found in this group of explorers and for being able to map something unmapped before. He is usually recompensed even if just a little in the next payment.

His past

Vestrak is from the Persashes family. Due to being the fifth child, he was allowed to stay home if he did not want to come to official places and that's what he chose. He never had a good relationship with his father and once he was about to become an adult, his father expelled him out of the family and told him not to come back until he made a name for himself.

Since then, he has the fear of being left alone by people and always avoided to make new friendships until he arrived the Therik compasses. There he lowered his guard and made friends and might even found love, but this gives him nightmares from time to time in which he is abandoned by all of them.
