Chieftains makes decision. Succession is decided by natural divination. There are six different wandering nomad tribes at present though the numbers change as groups split and combine.

• The Gallows at the Cliffs of Shade – a Public Location where the bodies of those who attempted to harm the desert are put on display as warning
• The repelling of the Gu'us Empire invaders roughly 90 years ago
