Drovan (Dr-O-van)
The Drovan people are a tribal based group who value the smaller tribal units as opposed to that of the nation as a whole. Meritocratically driven they value individualism and familial clans over nationalist pride. The Drovan culture group originated from the Tribal forest of Drov which later broke into the country of Doranos and some migration into other neighboring nations. In addition to this tribal perspective the Drovan bloodlines also harbor the gift of lycanthropy and is well integrated into their societal structure. Often times the closer to the original lycans a family bloodline is the stronger the abilities are of the Drovan wielding them. This often results in the Pure bloodline families being generally considered leaders in their tribes but from time to time a less pure blooded Drovan will come along and unseat a pure bloodline. It is currently unclear what gives these mix blooded Drovans power equal to or greater than the pure lines as there seems to be no correlation between previous and current mixed Drovans. While most Drovans have the gift of lycanthropy not all do as over the centuries some families have married outside of the people and diluted the blood enough or other gifts of the other parent have overpowered the gift of lycanthropy.
