Gorgon the Invincible
The Dark One
Born in 923 of the Beginning age, Gorgan was always angry and violent. When he was six his father was killed by a boar while out hunting. The young boy was so furious he killed his mother in cold blood,(how he did it is up for debate. Some say he beat her in with a water pail, some say he stoned her to death and the true conspiracy theorists say he shoved a cat down her throat as she slept.)
When he was twelve he joined the fighting men of his clan, and he loved it. He found true joy in killing monsters and the occasional criminal. He was rude and brash to everyone, no friends, no lovers, only anger. Most chose to ignore him for their sake, but this would soon become impossible. The first Snake War was led by a Dark One. Gorgan absolutely wanted to kill the wizard, not to help anyone but to increase his power and fame. When Gorgan got his hands on the Dark Ring he wasted no time and put it on, giving him the power he so desired.
Gorgan cared not for conquest or crowns, he only wanted pain. He razed villages when he was bored. If any man, woman or child gave him any slight they died right then and there. When the Clans of Men realized the magnitude of his power they untied to try and stop him. They each sent eighty men to the field where he made him home. When the men arrived they found a shabby hut in a field of golden grass. When they approached Gorgan in the form of a five foot tall boar burst through the door breathing fire! The brave men all threw themselves at him, slashing, shooting and hacking, but every slash, chop and shot bounced off the boar’s fur, never once drawing blood. Gorgan burned everyman alive on that field, giving it the name The Field of Fire. It is also where he earned the name, The Invincible. Gorgan than became famous for taking the form of the boar whenever he struck.
While terrifying and powerful, being in an animal form had one consequence, he could not wear the Dark Ring while transformed. Gorgan was never intelligent and so to that he gave no thought, so it was not long(as far as Dark One reigns go) before someone new found and dawned the ring, killing Gorgan. Gorgan The Invincible died in the year 992, making him 69 years of age
