Griffins

A deadly creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle. They make nests at high altitudes such as the mountains in Eldre and Green Mountain They are extremely protective of their nests and young. Other than hunting and gathering the do no leave their nests. When the young are ready they leave and make their own nests. Their fur is impenetrable but susceptible to fire. Their unbreakble fur has allowed them to dominate the food chain and thrive in their solitude.
