King Holf Half-Hand
Holf is the Chieftain of the village of Osarr and of Clan Volsung. He originally did not win in the Moot when his father died, his brother Gorn was chosen. Holf outraged challenged his brother to a Holmgang to decided the next Chieftain. His brother excepted, and lost. While Holf won the Holmgang he lost three fingers in the process, this gave him the name Holf Half-Hand.
Holf is a passionate man who chases three things, women, fights and more women. He has fathered nine children, all with different mothers. Do not be deceived however, when he is forced into it he is a cunning dwarf. His plans are wild and hard for any sensible person to predict. When he had to dispose with a party of traitors he lead them into a vacant hall and fought them. The fight however was a ruse, While he fought the traitors inside he had his people light fire to the hall from the outside. He escaped and let his wounded foes burn. Yet despite his success in tactics he usually always has to be forced into it.
