King's Day

In The Vale, every year on November 4th, they celebrate the birthday of King Bulagaurd-The First King of The Vale. Even a thousand some odd years later they praise Bulagaurd as Hero King; A Conqueror. Feasts are held and ale is shared. It is a time for families to come together and enjoy each others company. In Xares the Bear Banner of the Ursain's flies high everywhere. The King walks through the streets and gives food to the poor so that they may share it with their familes. The air is filled with poems and songs about The Great Bear King!

History

While it celebrates his birth, King's Day wasn't celebrated until 1012--the year that Bulagaurd died in battle. It is the oldest celebrated tradtion in The Vale.
